I think, people quite mix image with performance. Thats what happened with kambli and same is happening with Yuvraj. Accepted, his recent track isn’t that encouraging. But so was Sehwag’s, who made a tripple century. My point is, Kaif is good for one dayers but certainly he doesn’t have a class for test matches, a la Sehwag – though he scored a tripple century.
Yuvraj is an arrogant punk who doesn’t deserve to play Test cricket. Infact with his awesome form in Australia…I doubt he deserves a place even in the ODI squad!
Kaif last played in the West Indies, when Sachin was injured and scored 150+ in an innings, while Yuvraj’s highest score in that series was 18! It’s unfortunate that Kaif got injured after that. He’s lead the India A squad to 3 back-to-back series victories and has also been one of the most prolific scorers in the domestic season this year. He definiely deserves this comeback
I really think considering Kaif in place of Yuvi as a ridiculous move. Yuvraj infact should be considered as a captain, after kumble. Even for one dayers, try him instead of Dhoni. May be Dhoni will play a match winning innings because of that.
